Rollout - Shadows
With the "Shadows" rollout you can calculate the shadows of 3D Objects. After the first calculation the modify will be in REALTIME.

Invert the normals of the faces to calculate the shadows.
Some 3D modeling software exports the normal of faces with "Right Handed Axis ". 3D GeniuX support shadow only for objects with "Left Handed Axis ". You can solve the problem in 3D GeniuX with the options "Invert Calculate Shadow" on "Shadow" roolout.
Greate a pierced Cube in your modeling software and export it with "Right Handed Axis".
Incorrect shadows generation in 3D GeniuX because it support "Left Handed Axis".
In 3D GeniuX "Shadows" rollout activate "Inver Calculate Shadow" to correct the shadows generation.
PROCEEDING: to projects the 3D object shadows on the photo.
1. Start a new 3D GeniuX project with a resolution of 640x480 pixel
2. Load a Background image
3. Load from the objects Box and Plane and place them on the photo.
From set light as shown on the right
4. From click on , to calculate shadows.
5. From hide the plane

FAQ
An object does not generate shadow
Some 3D modeling software exports the normal of faces with "Right Handed Axis ". 3D GeniuX support shadow only for objects with "Left Handed Axis ". You can solve the problem in 3D GeniuX with the options "Invert Calculate Shadow" on "Shadow" roolout.

Artifacts on object surface

This artifacts follow the structure of polygonal surface, for exaple if you have been created some faces in a wrong way or you have an object with low detail. You can correct the polygonal surface with your modeling software.

The objects with transparency does not create a correct shadow
3D GeniuX does not support trasparency surfaces, and it creates a fill solid shadow.
